THE BAND
Grasshole are a high voltage three-piece garage-fuzz band from Melbourne, Australia. Fronted by a rare father-son duo Karis (Guitar/vox) & Rick Hawkins (Drums/Vox) & Marcus Nolan (Bass/Vox).
Grasshole combines elements of Grunge, Rock and Punk to create their unique sound, which has been described as heavy, progressive, intense, and deeply melodic.
Over 13 years they have developed a reputation for high energy live shows, and gained a very strong following, both locally and internationally.
The band debuted in 2013 with a self-titled ‘Grasshole’ EP, which secured airplay on many USA college radio stations. Grasshole followed up their debut release in 2015 with their 2nd EP ‘The Unification Proclamation’.
The EP was added to rotation on over 90 USA Radio Stations, and debuted at #1 on 3 stations. 2016 saw Grasshole embark on their first international tour, playing shows across Spain & Sweden, including
several festivals.

2017 had Grasshole back in the studio for their first full length LP ‘Fuzz Of Flavour’. The first single ‘Van Inhalin’ from Fuzz Of Flavour was added to many Australian radio station playlists, and the humourous film clip quickly made its way onto MTV Australia. Grasshole completed 3 National Tours supporting the first singles in Australia, and an international tour in Indonesia promoting the album. The band smashed out 85 shows over the year and launched 2 other singles/film clips in support of the record. 2019 saw Grasshole record and release their 2nd Full length LP ‘Wildfire’ supported by another tour in Europe across Germany, Netherlands & Czech Republic. The AUS release and extensive tour of “Wildfire” was canceled due to the pandemic in early 2020. Despite this, the album received a great reception. Grasshole will be commencing a 20 date club and festival run of shows in 2025 across EU/UK & the Middle East whilst preparing their new album with a host of electric singles on the horizon. Album #5 shapes up to be the best yet for Grasshole, having spent the last few years recording demos and playing shows - they will now drip feed singles/filmclips until the album’s release in 2026.
